We’ve decided to shamelessly plug our table water at Salt if only because it comes from a triple distillation system – designed by a young Irish company with a great sense of style – that allows us to offer all our guests quality water that is healthy, fresh and affordable.
Echo water, unlike your average bottled mineral water, is not packaged, does not rack up water miles, does not sit in storage for months and best of all is served in a glass bottle that’s re-usable. There is no waste disposal or recycling because there’s no waste.
So how does it work? Well it uses Ireland’s very best on-site water filtration system. On-site means it comes from the mains eliminating the need for bottled water packaging, water miles and bulky storage and labour costs. As the water is poured, it is filtered no less than three times, while UV protection removes any remaining contaminates.
Lets face it water can stagnate and depending on where you live in the country can make your stomach churn. However, with this filtrations system we at Salt can promise you clean, fresh, affordable water as we only charge for the first bottle and every refill after that is free. Everybody wins.
