It’s about time I introduced you to a wonderful wine I first tasted in Salt. The first time I ate there was with my family, and my sister, who had lived for many years in South Africa, jumped out of her chair when she saw Leopards Leap on the wine list. She enthused about it, jumped up and down, waved her arms and demanded we get both the red and white. To keep her quiet we complied with her wishes and asked the waiter for two bottles. One of each. And they were delicious. We bought more.
The two bottles, Leopards Leap Chenin Blanc Western Cape and Cabernet Sauvignon Western Cape, are not common wines in this country and can only be bought at select wine suppliers.
