Ourselves and Bubbble Brothers had a great night in May with the first of our many wine tasting evenings and the special visit of Jesús Alvarez Otero from Agro de Bazán. This month, on Tuesday 7th June, we have a very different selection of wines for you to try out. From Albert Jané’s acústic celler in the tiny DO of Montsant – in the Catalan north-eastern corner of Spain – that has become an established favourite of staff and customers alike. And of course we’ll be feeding our guests with some delicious tapas from the Salt Kitchen.
Unfortunately Albert won’t be attending our evening – its a busy time in the vineyard – however we’ll still have a great night of food and wine and hope you can join us. However, Salt is small and after the success of our wine and tapas evening in May I’d advise you to book your tickets asap. You can buy them online at bubblebrothers.com or at their shop in the English Market in Cork. But be warned, due to the demand for tickets last month and the waiting list we have to honour tickets are limited to two per person. So be quick. Be decisive. Don’t miss a great night of food and wine.
